12U Juniors
The West Lafayette Youth Baseball and Softball Program's mission is to encourage friendly competition where we educate players on sportsmanship, teamwork, discipline, fundamentals, and growth as a person and player.
Softball registration fees will include a jersey and socks. White softball pants for 10U and 12U are required and a belt is optional. 10U/12U requires each player to have their own helmet with facemask attached and requires a defensive facemask for all players.

All age divisions are subject to enough volunteer coaches and players to support teams. If we do not receive enough coaches for the number of players, we will go on a first come first serve basis for our entries accepted. If a team cannot be formed because of the number of players or coaches, player registrations will be refunded.
Any player wanting to "Play Up", must be evaluated to play in an upper division. Players wanting to play up must meet the skill level of the next division and there must be enough space in the next division to accept an extra player.
Please register your child for his/her age and then email the director if you want him/her to be considered to play up.
We understand everyone wants to plan ahead. However, practice and game schedules cannot be determined until teams and coaches are assigned in March. It is impossible to know these schedules before knowing the number of registrants, teams, and the game schedules of opposing teams.
